Newszy: Shanfari Trading & Furnishing Company LLC has reinforced its position as a leading specialist in high-end hospitality and landmark interior fit-outs with the successful completion of the Crowne Plaza Muscat renovation in a record 3.5 months.

The fast-tracked project, which included guest rooms, corridors, and comprehensive interior fit-out works, was delivered with uncompromising quality, underscoring the company’s operational excellence and ability to execute complex hospitality projects within accelerated timelines across Oman and the wider GCC.

Founded in 1977 by His Excellency Sheikh Said bin Ahmed Al Shanfari and rooted in the Shanfari Group’s legacy dating back to 1960, Shanfari Furnishing is one of Oman’s largest producers of specialized woodworking and furniture solutions. The company has played a key role in the Sultanate’s infrastructure and cultural development, delivering prestigious commercial and government projects.

Its portfolio includes developments such as the Royal Opera House Muscat, Al Bustan Palace – A Ritz-Carlton Hotel, The Grand Hyatt Muscat, Tanmia Headquarters and Hotel Apartments, Sultan Haitham City, and the King Salman Air Base, among others – reflecting its depth of expertise in bespoke manufacturing, decorative joinery, and turnkey interior solutions.

Commenting on the broader significance of the Crowne Plaza Muscat renovation, Dr. Adil Said Al Shanfari, Chairman of Shanfari Trading & Furnishing Company LLC, noted that the project represents more than a successful delivery. “It reflects our continued commitment to elevating hospitality and built-environment standards in Oman and the region. The ability to balance speed with craftsmanship is central to our philosophy and demonstrates how premium projects can be delivered efficiently without compromise.”

Reflecting on the execution, Tamima Al Shanfari, Project Director at Shanfari Trading & Furnishing Company LLC, said: “Completing the Crowne Plaza Muscat renovation in just 3.5 months is a testament to the strength of our planning, our in-house manufacturing and installation capabilities, and the dedication of our teams. This project capped an exceptional period for Shanfari Furnishing – one defined by precision, trust, and performance. Looking ahead, our ambition is to build on this momentum by delivering even larger and more complex projects across Oman and the GCC.”

With a strong project pipeline and growing regional presence, Shanfari Furnishing continues to set new benchmarks for quality, speed, and craftsmanship in hospitality and large-scale interior developments across Oman and the GCC.
